Interesting how when people in your past will talk about closing chapters – how they remember it and how you remember it are completely different but I guess I know why that happens.
It makes it easier for you to believe your version than the real version of events.
Should I reply and point out the correctness? No… leave it… “Ce la vie” 🙂
The best advice to me was “just don’t reply to anything – leave it, let them believe whatever they want to believe and it will go away and eventually you’ll go on with your life”
I think it’s really important that everyone realizes that, we all make mistakes, some worse than others, but if you learn from it – you will be better because of it – no one is perfect.
