So the last 2 to 3 weeks and for many more weeks, the Department of Health: EMS has slapped together a team of people to do vaccinations.
It’s been insanely busy for all involved and though I get home later every day and am so tired on most of those days – I won’t lie, I am so proud to be apart of this team.
I might not actually see it, but I know the people who come and get their vaccinations are proud of the job we are doing – we do it with smiles even though, like today, there was conflict between some of us – it was rough, but it got better.
I have a step counter on my phone and for the longest time, it would take all day and then some for me to reach 15,000 steps – these last 2/3 weeks, I’ve hit 15,000 every single day by before 12 in the afternoon… madness! But, as I’ve said before, I’m proud to be doing what I’m doing.
There are lots of people who are coming for vaccinations who are scared, rightfully so but I also enjoy talking them and calming them down and just – you know – spending time with them and the people who come.
I’m really not interested in all the rumors, stories and blah blah blah – YOU can make a difference and either get vaccinated or not.
As with everything in life, the choice is up to YOU.
